Indies Pharma Jamaica is reporting net profit of $181.3 million on revenue of approximately $1.1 billion for the financial year ended October 2025, despite the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
The company says revenue declined slightly by about 2.8 per cent, compared with 2024, reflecting disruptions to supply chains and operations following the Category Five storm.
The company's performance came during a challenging period marked by logistical constraints and broader economic pressures, the management noted.
Indies Pharma also pointed to its transition to a higher corporate tax rate of 12.5 per cent, following the end of its Junior Market tax incentives on the Jamaica Stock Exchange, as a factor affecting profitability.
Looking ahead, Indies Pharma says it is moving into a growth phase, supported by recent FDA approval for one of its products targeting the American market, and expanded warehouse capacity, intended to improve efficiency and supporting international expansion.
