IronRock Insurance sees improved first quarter results for 2026

IronRock Insurance Company is reporting improved first-quarter results for 2026, driven by growth in insurance revenue and stronger investment performance.

IronRock recorded a pre-tax profit of 7 million dollars for the quarter, compared with a pre-tax loss of 7-point-8 million dollars in the corresponding period last year.

The insurance company says insurance revenue increased 21 per cent to 593-point-9 million dollars when compared with the corresponding period last year.

IronRock says growth was led mainly by its property, liability and accident insurance segments, reflecting continued demand in its target markets and the execution of its underwriting strategy.

The company also renewed its reinsurance treaties in January, securing additional capacity for its growing property portfolio and catastrophe exposure management.

IronRock says claims activity during the quarter continued to be affected by Hurricane Melissa losses.
