The Jamaica Broilers Group is reporting that its net profit dipped by 14% to $1.1 billion on revenues of $23.6 billion during the October quarter.
This, it says, is due to the negative effects of Hurricane Beryl on the agriculture and agro processing sectors.
The company also says the revenues generated by its Jamaican operations were flat, but its profits dipped by 11% to $3.3 billion.
