Jamaica's exports to the EU total US$75.9 million in early 2024, down from 2023

Jamaica earned US$75.9 million from exports to the European Union for the first five months in 2024.

The Statistical Institute of Jamaica says this was US$42.3 million below the US$118.3 million earned for the comparable 2023 period.

The latest International Merchandise Trade Bulletin says this was primarily due to a 40.1 per cent decline in the exports of "Crude Materials (excluding Fuels)".
