Jamaica's net international reserves (NIR), which measure the difference between its foreign assets and foreign liabilities, dipped by $59.1 million to $5.8 billion in May from $5.85 million in April.
This was mainly due to a foreign foreign assets from $5.9 billion in April to $5.84 billion in May.
The country's foreign liabilities held firm at $41.6 million. These reserves can purchase 48.38 weeks of goods imports, compared with 48.86 weeks in April.
