The JSE's Main Index climbed by 312.21 points to close at 386,345.24 points on a volume of 9.1 million units, valued at $171.3 million on Monday.
On the other hand, the JSE Junior Market Index fell by 41 points.
A total of 60 stocks traded, 27 advanced, 24 declined, and nine traded firm.
TransJamaican Highway Limited was the volume leader with 4.3 million units (47%), followed by Massy Holdings Limited with 1.3 million units (4%) and Wigton Energy Limited with 700,707 (8%).
