Knutsford Express Services is reporting a return to profitability as it continues to recover from the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
In its unaudited results for the nine months ending February 2026, the company says revenue for the third quarter declined by 8.2 per cent to $544 million, down from $593 million last year.
Despite the fall in revenue, Knutsford Express posted a net profit of $15.8 million for the quarter, but this represents a 68 per cent decline, compared with the 50 million dollars earned in the corresponding period last year.
The company says the results reflect a gradual recovery following the severe disruption caused by the hurricane, which significantly affected operations.
Meanwhile, total assets grew by more than 13 per cent to $2.4 billion, supported by continued investment in expansion.
During this period, the company added new coaches to its fleet to improve efficiency and prepare for increased demand.
It said it was also seeing increased use of its online booking platform, as more customers turn to digital services.
Knutsford Express also reported steady progress on its major transport hub project in Mandeville.
