Lumber Depot is reporting a net profit of $26.25 million for the first quarter ended July 31, 2026.
Revenue for the period was $418.64 million.
The company says it delivered improved revenue despite a 2.9 per cent contraction in the economy during the April-to-June quarter.
However, Lumber Depot says higher prices for key hardware items, particularly lumber, and challenges with the availability of cement and other construction inputs affected its operations.
Lumber Depot says its profit was also affected by the lower margins and financing and other costs associated with expansion and diversification projects.
The combined impact reduced quarterly profit by $13.5 million, compared with the previous year.
