Norbrook Equity Partners Limited, in partnership with a strategic group of minority investors including Sygnus Deneb Investments and FirstRock Private Equity, has announced the acquisition of seventy-nine Kentucky Fried Chicken and Dairy Queen restaurants in Panama from Franquicias Panameñas, S.A.
The transaction also establishes Norbrook as the exclusive franchisee for both brands in the Central American country.
This transformative transaction marks a significant milestone for FranPan, a 60-year-old family-run operation and once the largest fast-food franchise operator in Panama with over two hundred restaurants across various brands, including KFC, Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Quiznos, Pizza Pizza, and Chilli's.
