Sagicor Real Estate X Fund has reported a 196 per cent surge in net profits attributable to stockholders — reaching $882.7 million, or 39 cents per share, for the six-month period ending June 30.
That's up from $298 million, or 13 cents per share, for the corresponding period last year.
The company's total assets climbed to $33.6 billion, while cash and cash equivalents rose to $8 billion.
Stockholders' equity increased to $23 billion.
Operating cash flows also doubled to $790 million — a sign the company remains liquid.
