The JSE Index declined by 742 points on Thursday, while the Junior Market Index advanced by one point.
Forty-six shares gained ground, including Eppley Caribbean Property Fund, Access Financial Service, Blue Power Group, tTech, and JFP.
There were 56 losing shares were led by First Rock Real Estate Investments USD, JMMB 9.5 per cent, JPS 9.5 per cent, Elite Diagnostic and Iron Rock Insurance.
Eleven stocks traded firm.
