The JSE Index advanced 266 points, while the Junior Market declined by 26 points.
Among the 42 winners were: The LAB, QWI Investments, iCreate - Ordinary Shares, MFS Capital Partners and Caribbean Cream.
The 49 losers included: TTECH, Omni Industries, Jamaica Public Service Company - 7 per cent, Caribbean Assurance Brokers and JFP.
Eleven stocks traded firm.
