US equities markets closed higher on Tuesday

US equities markets closed higher on falling crude oil  prices on the ceasefire between Israel and Iran which was brokered by US President Donald Trump.

This despite comments from Federal Reserve Chairman  Jerome Jay Powell that the Fed is waiting on the incoming data for June and July before making  another decision on interest  rates.

European markets also traded higher in response to the cease fire, despite mixed first quarter corporate earnings reports.

Asia-Pacific markets also rebounded on news of the ceasefire between the Israeli and the Iranians.
