Wigton Energy is reporting a sharp decline in profits, despite increased revenue for the year ended March 2026.
The company posted net profit of $208.5 million, down approximately 31% from a year earlier.
Revenue, however, rose by about 6% to just over $1.96 billion, reflecting growth in electricity sales. But higher operating costs weighed on performance.
Finance expenses also remain significant, although lower than the previous year, while other income declined to roughly $405 million.
