President of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Jamaica Cordell Williams Graham says members of the MSME sector must be given a seat on the new committee established to examine the feasibility of the establishment of a Micro Stock Exchange.
Finance Minister Fayval Williams, who announced the initiative last week, said the committee would comprise representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Jamaica Stock Exchange, Securities Dealers Association and PSOJ as well as the legal fraternity.
Their task will be to study the feasibility of the proposal.
It is anticipated that ten to 50 million dollars will be raised on the Micro Stock Exchange.
