The police detained 29 Haitian nationals on Monday evening after they were discovered at a property in Edgewater, Portmore.
It's reported that the police, acting on intelligence, went to a location where the Haitian nationals were observed.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that eight females and 21 males were at the property.
They reportedly arrived legally in Jamaica and were granted three days permit to stay, but the majority of them overstayed their time.
They were taken to the Greater Portmore police station where they were processed by a team from the Passport, Immigration & Citizenship Agency.
They are expected to be charged and placed before the courts.
