Accused in Anchovy High stabbing in custody

A team from the Ministry of Education’s Grief Counseling visited the Anchovy High School in the western parish of St James following an incident on Wednesday that led to the death of a student.

It’s reported that  shortly after the morning shift ended, Jamella Dawkins, 13, was stabbed in the chest by another female student.

According to eyewitness reports Jamella was chased by the student with whom she reportedly had a fight.

The police have since taken into their custody , the teenager student accused of stabbing Jamella.
