ACP Phillips transferred from Area 5 in JCF reshuffle

 

Assistant Commissioner of Police Christopher Phillips is being transferred from Area 5 to the Area 3 Division. 

 

He is to be succeeded by Assistant Commissioner of Police Howard Chambers.

 

The announcement was made on Tuesday at the Area 5 headquarters in St. Catherine during a praise and worship service.

 

ACP Phillips, in his presentation, said his reassignment was an opportunity to make further impact within the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

 

He also encouraged the men and women of Area 5 to build on the achievements of the division. 

 

"This isn't about me moving on. It's about you staying on course. You are the crew of Area 5 and greatness is your destination. But I must tell you, nothing great is created suddenly. One of the most common prayers I pray for others is this, 'Lord, please send small opportunities across their paths to do what you've called them to do.' When we are faithful in those small opportunities, God says you have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities," he charged.
