Allan Rickards, former chairman of the All Island Jamaica Cane Farmers' Association, is dead.
Mr Rickards died late Tuesday night at age 79 after ailing for some time.
He hosted a programme for many years on Power 106 FM (a member of the RJRGLEANER Group) focused on the sugar cane industry.
