Police personnel in Clarendon are searching for clues after a male body was discovered along Manchester Avenue in May Pen early Friday morning.
Preliminary reports suggest that the deceased was allegedly hit with a piece of concrete block by a man of unsound mind.
In a bid to escape his attacker, the now deceased crawled onto the road and was run over by a motorist who did not stop.
It is reported that residents in the area stumbled upon the man's lifeless body after which they alerted the police.
When the police arrived, the man's body was seen lying face down and motionless in blood. The left side of the head was bashed in and an open wound was seen on his foot.
The body was clad in red underpants and a discoloured T-shirt.
