The BOJ says it is investigating the flaw on this $1,000 banknote.

The Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) has the banknote which was posted to social media by a woman who said she got the faulty note at an ATM.
The woman posted a receipt from the BOJ on social media, indicating the central bank took the note in question and handed her a new $1,000 bill.
The receipt appears to confirm that the note did in fact have a flaw.
BOJ has verified the claim and says it is investigating the matter.
The new notes went into circulation last Thursday.
