The Meteorological Service says a strong Cold Front is forecast to enter the western Caribbean on Saturday, impacting weather conditions across Jamaica from Saturday night through early next week.
Consequently, the island is expected to experience significantly cooler temperatures as well as strong, gusty winds, especially across northern parishes and hilly areas.
Additionally, generally cloudy conditions with increased periods of showers affecting most parishes are expected.
Fishers and other marine interests are advised to exercise caution as sea conditions will deteriorate due to very strong (near gale force) winds from Saturday night through early next week.
The Met Service says it will continue to monitor the system and provide updates as necessary.
