Delayed payment for NERHA employees

The North-East Regional Health Authority (NERHA) has advised its employees that there will be a delay in the payment of arrears and a one-off payment that was scheduled Wednesday.

In a memo addressed to dental assistants and medical officers on Wednesday, the Authority said the delay will affect employees whose salary accounts are maintained at the following institutions: First Caribbean International Bank (CIBC), Portland Co-operative Credit Union, JN Bank, Sagicor and First Regional Co-operative Credit Union.

NERHA said the funds were processed for disbursement to the financial institutions, but the transaction will not be reflected until today, March 30.
