Representatives of the Caribbean Community are gathering in Tokyo for the Eighth CARICOM-Japan Ministerial Conference.
It serves as a platform for dialogue and cooperation between Japan and members of CARICOM.
Key issues under discussion include climate resilience, sustainable development, renewable energy, trade and investment, and the advancement of bilateral and multilateral partnerships.
This year is being observed as the CARICOM-Japan Friendship Year, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the first CARICOM-Japan Consultation.
