The body of a fisherman who is suspected to have drowned was found Friday morning in Kingston Harbour in the vicinity of Caribbean Cement.
Ransford Green, 61, was reported missing on Thursday after he went fishing and did not return.
Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, head of the Jamaica Constabulary Force Corporate Communications Unit, said the body washed up in the vicinity of the Flour Mill Cement Factory about 6 a.m.
The body was positively identified by the man's wife.
Investigators suspect the fisherman drowned, however, a post mortem is to be done to confirm the cause of death.
