The St. Andrew South Police have detained four men for questioning in connection with Friday's triple murder along Kidd Lane in St. Andrew.
Two women and a one-year-old child were killed in the arson and gun attack which has sparked public outrage.
Eleven men were listed as Persons of Interest in the investigation.
Four of them have surrendered since Saturday.
Investigators are reporting that one of the detainees has now been charged in connection with another murder in the community.
The cops say 37-year-old Lance Brown, also known as 'Stoneface', of Kidd Lane, is accused of participating in the murder of 19-year-old Ricardo Morgan on August 23, this year.
It's alleged that, about 11:30 p.m., Morgan, who resided on Kidd Lane, was walking in the community, when Brown and other men approached him and opened fire. He was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at hospital.
In addition to murder, Brown has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition and using a firearm to commit a felony.
His co-accused in the matter, Kevon Robinson, was charged earlier by detectives.
Brown is among 11 Persons of Interest named in relation to the October 9 triple murder and arson attack on Kidd Lane.
The police say other men in custody are the prime suspect, Dantae Davis, otherwise called 'Donte'; Roshane Paisley, also called 'Gurr'; and Andre McBean, known as 'Pinchers'.
The police disclosed that the deadly attack arose from a dispute between Davis and a relative of one of the women killed over the use of water.
Those killed were 30-year-old Lashane Ellis, her infant son Khael, and 39-year-old Kimiesha Gibson.
