People's National Party President Mark Golding has called for Jamaicans to vote out the Andrew Holness led Jamaica Labour Party.

The Opposition Leader, who was speaking while on a campaign tour of South West St. Elizabeth on Monday night, fired back at the ruling JLP, labelling them as tricksters who are also corrupt.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness, during a tour of Clarks Town, Trelawny on Saturday night, called the PNP hypocrites for their proposal to raise the income tax threshold if they form the next government.

Mr. Golding, however, said the PNP's record of delivering on the needs of the people of St. Elizabeth is an indication of its commitment to good governance.

He called for the residents to give their full support to the party.

"South West is a difficult constituency in the fortunes of any government and we need South West in the column of the People's National Party whether it be at the local, which is the 26th and the general, whenever that is - and I believe it would be soon because we are in the fourth year of the second term of this government. Whenever it is, local or general, we need the PNP back in power, stronger than ever, doing the work of the people," he declared.

The opposition also slighted the government for its announcement of a series of developments to come for Clarks Town, Trelawny.

"They promising everything under the sun. Everyday is pure promise. Mi hear seh dem promise to turn Clarks Town into a city. Well, don't hold your breath with that, comrades; they are good at promising and they are bad at delivering," he argued.
