Governor General Sir Patrick Allen is to formally resume official duties on Monday following a leave of absence.
Sir Patrick had been recovering from spinal surgery done in December last year.
Custos of Kingston Steadman Fuller had been deputising for the Governor-General from December 16, to ensure the seamless continuation of official responsibilities, including Thursday's delivery of the Throne Speech during the Ceremonial Opening of Parliament.
Custos Fuller's period of service in this capacity concludes today (Friday).
