Fourteen speedboat operators in Guyana are now counting their losses while after an early morning fire destroyed their boats, which were anchored on West Coast of Demerara yesterday.
Six other boats were damaged by the fire.
According to the Guyana Fire Service, a call was received about 2am informing them about the blaze that started from the rear end of a vessel.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
