In her first live interview since becoming the Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris has told ABC's The View that Congress must act on dealing with immigration - one of the weakest issues for her among voters.
It comes as both she and her Republican opponent have had various campaign stops disrupted by the threat of Hurricane Milton, with Donald Trump having to postpone an event in Miami, Florida, as the storm barrels towards the state.
Ms. Harris and Mr. Trump remain locked in a tight race, with the vice-president polling slightly ahead nationally, though the two are running neck-and-neck in key swing states.
