A Honduran national, who was caught wandering in Spanish Town, St Catherine on Sunday, has been charged with illegal entry.
The man has been identified as 45 year-old Rodolfo Enrique Delcid Olin,of La Ceiba, Atlántida in Honduras.
The police reported that the Honduran national was observed walking along Church Street in Spanish Town about 11 a.m.
He was approached by the police, and checks revealed that he was a foreign national.
He allegedly told investigators that he and others had come to Jamaica to fish for lobsters, saying he had been left on the Pedro Cays by his colleagues, who did not return for him.
He was subsequently arrested and charged.
