Jamaican jailed for sending sexually-explicit text to step-daughter

A Jamaican man accused of sending sexually-explicit text messages to his step-daughter and offering to pay her for sex was on Monday sentenced to one year in jail in Massachusetts. In a plea agreement with prosecutors, 44-year-old Gary Lee pleaded guilty to charges of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, as well as electronic enticement of a child for prostitution. Lee, who has been in jail since he was arrested last December, will be given credit for time served. His attorney indicated that the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency will deport him to Jamaica on his release.
