The Jamaica Constabulary Force now has in place an Accelerated Promotion Programme.
The programme, which was launched Monday, is aimed at increasing the number of senior officers by promoting rank and file members after extensive vetting and training.
There are currently fourteen participants who are expected to be promoted to Deputy Superintendent after a four year period.
