The Hagley Gap to Mahogany Vale main road in St Thomas is impassable to vehicular traffic due to a landslide.
According to residents, a team from the National Works Agency visited the area last week and started work to repair a retaining wall that had partially collapsed during heavy rain last year but had not returned to continue the work up to yesterday.
This morning, shortly before 6 o'clock, the rest of the retaining wall collapsed, along with debris from the hillside.
