Man killed in Central Village gun attack

The St. Catherine South Police are keeping a close watch on sections of Central Village in St. Catherine, after gunmen carried out a deadly attack in the community on Tuesday.
 
Timoy Rattigan, a 37-year-old resident of Compound, Central Village, was fatally shot in the incident.
 
About 2 p.m., Mr. Rattigan was standing at a shop along East Avenue when a group of men opened fire at him with rifles and handguns.
 
Mr. Rattigan sustained multiple bullet wounds and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
 
More than a dozen spent shells were found at the scene.
