Three men were shot and one of them died at a barbershop in Duhaney Park Plaza in St Andrew on Friday.
The deceased is 33 year old Junior Barrett of Ferry in Kingston.
Mr Barrett and the other men were sitting in front of the barbershop when they were attacked by a lone gunman.
Investigators believe Mr Barrett may have been the intended target.
All three men were taken to hospital where Mr Barrett was pronounced dead.
