The police are searching for the driver of a motor car which was involved in a fatal hit and run along Municipal Boulevard in Portmore, St. Catherine on Sunday night.
The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Gavin Blake, of Roaring River District, Steer Town, St. Ann.
Reports are that about 10:15 p.m., Mr. Blake was walking along the roadway in Greater Portmore when he was hit by a white motor car which did not stop.
Mr. Blake was assisted to Spanish Town Hospital where he later died.
The Portmore Traffic Department is investigating.
