The People's National Party (PNP) has held true to its word that Mark Golding will continue as party president after the incumbent leader was on a post for the top post at the close of nomination on Friday.
The nominations concluded at midday.
PNP General Secretary Dr. Dayton Campbell says there are four nominations for the posts of Vice President - Mikael Phillips, Ian Hayles, Natalie Neita Garvey and Norman Scott.
"That being the case, we will have no need to hold any elections because we have sufficient nominees for the posts that are available," he noted.
"I want to use this opportunity to thank Comrade Donna Scott-Mottley, who served as Vice President over the last couple of years. She took a decision not to offer herself for re-election," added Dr. Campbell.
He said the party will convene its two-day National Executive Council meeting on October 4 and 5, followed by the annual regional conferences and the election of regional officers.
