A Director of the money lending and investment firm Partner's
Financial and Investment Limited, Gerald Pusey, was arrested last week.
Mr. Pusey, who is also Chief Executive Officer was charged by Fraud Squad detectives.
A police source confirmed that Mr. Pusey was charged with forgery and uttering forged documents.
He was reportedly released on a $50,000 bond.
Allegations are that Mr. Pusey reportedly used documents in the name of Gary Pusey to open an account with a local commercial bank.
Officials of the un-named bank reportedly discovered that the account was not in the name of Gerald Pusey.
Following investigations Mr. Pusey was arrested and charged by Fraud Squad detectives.
In the meantime, the matter which was expected to be mentioned in the Corporate Area Criminal Court before Resident Magistrate Glen Brown failed to get underway.
Attorney representing Mr. Pusey, Jacqueline Samuels-Brown, said she had learnt that the matter involving her client was not listed.
Resident Magistrate Brown said he was unable to suggest anything as the matter was not officially before him.
A summons is expected to be issued which should see Mr. Pusey returning to Court to answer charges on Monday.
