NHT contributors being warned against refund fraudsters

Contributors of the National Housing Trust are being warned against falling victim to fraudsters as they apply for their refunds.

As of today contributors can begin applying for refund of contributions made in 2017.

The NHT is advising people to avoid third party websites or unofficial channels when applying for their refunds.

Contributors are encouraged to ignore unsolicited emails as the NHT only sends communication regarding successful refunds or requests for customer contact if there is a problem with the application submitted.

They are also advised to verify email addresses, avoid clicking suspicious links and to stick to the NHT website or mobile app to engage with the agency.
