The father and stepmother of the seven-year-old girl who died after reportedly being beaten at her home in New Works, Linstead, St. Catherine, have been charged with murder.
Thirty-nine-year-old Rohan Russell and 27-year-old Lorraine Fletcher were charged on the weekend.
It was reported that on June 28, Mr. Russell and Miss Fletcher took Tiana to Linstead Hospital.
The child was pronounced dead and the police were called after an examination revealed marks of violence on Tiana's body.
An autopsy revealed that she died as a result of blunt force injuries.
