Phillip Davis has been sworn in as the new Prime Minister of the Bahamas.
Phillip Davis was sworn in on Friday as the country's new Prime Minister during a private ceremony at the Office of the Governor General.
Media reports said a swearing-in ceremony for the new ministers is slated for Saturday.
Mr. Davis led the Progressive Liberal Party to a convincing victory in Thursday's general election.
The party won 32 of the 39 seats, reversing the 35 to four defeat it suffered to the Free National Movement in 2017.
