Prime Minister Andrew Holness says his government has started the process of reversing the deterioration and failure of the country's aging road infrastructure.
Mr Holness conceded on Sunday there has been a lack of sufficient investment in the country's infrastructure over the years, attributing it to poor handling of the economy by previous governments.
Speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party conference in St. Ann North West, he admits that the road infrastructure across the island is in unacceptable condition.
But, he asserted that his administration has a programme to address it.
