PM urges more community participation in anti-crime efforts

 
Prime Minister Andrew Holness continues to encourage the law-abiding people of the country to work more closely with the police to rid their communities of criminals.
 
Dr Holness has again asserted that his administration intends to dismantle criminal gangs and organized criminal networks to ensure economic stability and public safety.
 
Speaking Friday at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Whitehall to New Market Water Supply Project in St Elizabeth, he commended the St Elizabeth Police for their increased activities, targeting criminals.
 
In that regard, he stressed that the country must take a zero tolerance approach to criminals.
