Police Commissioner George Quallo is to demit office within the next few days.
RJR News sources confirmed Commissioner Quallo's pending departure a short while ago.
Opposition Spokesman on National Security Fitz Jackson also told RJR News that he confirmed this with the Commissioner.
Deputy Commissioner Clifford Blake is tipped to act as Commissioner of Police until a replacement is found.
Mr. Quallo was scheduled to demit office in August following his appointment in April 2017.
