Llofraun Thompson, Office of the Political Ombudsman
The Office of the Political Ombudsman says it has received numerous reports of political paraphernalia being vandalised across the country.
Llofraun Thompson, head of the unit coordinating the activities of the Office of Political Ombudsman, has noted with dismay that damage to campaign property creates an atmosphere of intimidation and retaliation.
Ms Thompson, speaking Monday on Beyond the Headlines, said the Political Ombudsman division conducted site visits in St Thomas where there were complaints of damage to campaign material.
She revealed that teams from the Office of the Political Ombudsman have visited several other affected areas across the island to get first hand views.
