A Potential Tropical Cyclone now over eastern Cuba is affecting weather conditions in Jamaica.
The Meteorological Service of Jamaica says the forecast is for periods of moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms to affect sections of most parishes on Friday into Saturday.
The disturbance is expected to develop into a Tropical Depression on Saturday as it moves across the Straits of Florida, followed by intensification into a Tropical Storm.
