The Financial Controller of Rick's Café in Negril, Westmoreland, Conroy Barrett, has been charged with breaches of the Spirit Licence Act and operating without an amusement licence.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that Mr. Barrett was served with the summons on Thursday.
He is scheduled to appear in court on June 22.
A police source said charges could also be laid under Disaster Risk Management Act.
On Wednesday, Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie announced that charges had been laid in connection with the Mocha Fest incident.
However, there was no information on the persons charged in relation to the illegal event which was held at Rick's Café.
The police were also unable to corroborate the information or name the offenders.
Rick's Café was ordered closed on May 28 amid public outrage over the Mocha Fest party held there two days earlier. Videos surfaced showing scores of patrons attending the event.
But a release from the Ministry of Local Government on Tuesday said Rick's Café had been granted permission to reopen.
The statement said the establishment was operating with an expired Places of Amusement licence which has since been renewed.
