The Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce says it is working towards getting a clearer picture as to the opportunities for its members in the two CARICOM countries.
The SGCC was represented at the just concluded Suriname Energy, Oil & Gas Summit that ended on Friday, but members spent an extra day to discuss the opportunities and possibilities in each other's country.
The SGCC said that while there is no doubt that the summit was a success, there is still so much that needs to be done to take advantage of the enormous opportunities that the new oil and gas industry brings.
