Six people, including children, believed to have entered Jamaica illegally, were taken into police custody during a predawn operation in Leith Hall district, St. Thomas on Wednesday.
The three adult women and three children are believed to be from Haiti and Brazil.
The police say the children are aged four, five and 11.
Five Jamaican men found at two separate locations are believed to be harbouring the illegal foreign nationals.
All parties were taken to Morant Bay Police Station for processing pending further investigation for possible prosecution.
